“Psychiatrist David Hawkins realized through research done during the 20th century that challenges and advances that we humans have
depend on our level of consciousness.
Today, the Consciousness Scale is used
(The map of consciousness)
by tens of thousands of students and practitioners in several disciplines,
to measure and effect change in quality of life and personal development”.
David Hawkins was a renowned psychiatrist, who in the 1900s, along with a group of other researchers over 25 years, used kinesiology to measure levels of consciousness.
He documented these levels on a scale from
1 - 1000. And has published a book called
The Map of Consciousness, which explains this scale in detail.
On this scale, 200 is the level at which we start to add energy to our surroundings, and below 200 we are net consumers of energy.
Today, this scale is used by tens of thousands of students and practitioners in multiple disciplines, to measure and effect change in quality of life and person
al development.
He realized that the challenges and progress that we humans have depends on our level of consciousness.
Below you can take a look to reflect on what levels you can vibrate at, and not least what levels you want to be at.
According to my understanding of this scale, it is about measuring the levels we vibrate at on average throughout the day.
Because we can have very different days, where we can swing significantly from one side of the scale to another.
So here you need to measure the average feeling you have and experience the most.
And use this scale to see which level resonates most with your current life and your current situation.
If we experience the most shame and what it means to be at that level, then perhaps that is the level we are vibrating at right now, etc.
Remember that it is not about something being wrong or right, everything just is
and everything is just about who and where you want to be
and starting to live more consciously.
And when you do that - start to live consciously - the levels will begin to rise.
This scale is about achieving more awareness in our lives.
